How it started
Hello! My name is Marcos, and I’d like to share a bit about myself, the things I enjoy, and how I ended up where I am today.
I’ve always been a passionate gamer, but as I got older, my interests gradually shifted toward fishing. Video games started taking a back seat as I spent more time outdoors. After years of fishing along the banks of Rhode Island and later in Delaware, I decided to take the next step and bought myself a fishing kayak—not the Old Town 120 PDL I had my eye on, but a Wilderness Systems Ride 115. I quickly realized I’d made a hasty decision and learned the hard way what “Buy Once, Cry Once” really means.
A few months later, I went ahead and purchased the Old Town 120 PDL. The moment I brought it home, I knew I wanted to make it my own. I wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted to change, but I wanted something more personal. After checking out the prices of accessories, I wasn’t sold—so I decided to put my computer and 3D printing skills to good use.
I dove into YouTube and started learning how to model my own kayak accessories. Within a week, I was designing functional pieces, and just a couple of months later, I turned that passion into a business.
Oh—and I can’t forget to mention my six cats, who I absolutely adore.
